Author to join us to celebrate reading
We are incredibly exited to have been chosen by Inspire Culture to be part of their ‘I am a reader’ series of workshops in 2022, celebrating the creativity of reading.
A group of women supported by BWP will meet with a published author on Zoom over three sessions. Not only will they chat about their reading, but they’ll get the chance to co-commission a brand new story, created by the writer for, and with input from, the group.
The author, who has been chosen specifically to work with our readers is Mahsuda Snaith, a writer of novels and short stories from Leicester.
Mahsuda’s novels include ‘The things we thought we knew’ and How to find home’. Mahsuda said: “Looking forward to starting 2022 with a group at @Broxtowewomen talking about the joy of reading.”
