Community Embrace Equity at IWD Event
We are incredibly grateful to so many wonderful guests for getting involved in our International Women’s Day 2023 events this morning in Beeston.
Some of the women we support, and many new faces enjoyed exploring the theme of #EmbraceEquity, through hennah art by Simran, wool crafts by Beeston Canalside Heritage Centre, and one of our talented women showed us how to create art from books.
Huge thanks to Broxtowe Borough Council and Beeston Youth and Community Centre for helping to fund the event, as well as Two Sweet Sisters and bakes by Billie for the IWD themed Treats!
