Listen – by Jay Trivedi

We are thrilled on International Women’s Day to share a poem written for Broxtowe Women’s Project.

Called “Listen”, it has been penned by Jay Trivedi.

Jay is a friend of one of our team members and works for Broxtowe Borough Council.

He says Listen was inspired by a blog on the Broxtowe Women’s Project website called How are you? https://broxtowewomensproject.org.uk/how-are-you/

For International Women’s Day, Jay has recorded himself reciting the poem.

It is a powerful, moving piece and we thank Jay for his work.
