If someone told you they were experiencing domestic abuse
would you know what to say?

It’s not always easy to know how to respond if you are concerned that someone is experiencing domestic abuse. There are lots of myths and ideas about domestic abuse which stop women asking for help and which make it hard to know what to do and say.

At Broxtowe Women’s Project we believe that a sensitive and informed response can make all the difference and may even save a woman’s life.
