Super 16 Challenge

Take part in the Super 16 Challenge – every year from 25 November to 10 December.

We challenge people to carry out 16 Days of Action marking the time between White Ribbon Day and Human Rights Day.

Raise awareness of the White Ribbon message whilst fundraising for Broxtowe Women’s Project.

You could:

  • Do something for 16 minutes a day like dancing or skipping.
  • Bake 16 different cakes and have a sale at work.
  • Run or walk for 16 miles.
  • Make up 16 goodybags and hold a workplace raffle.
  • ‘Give up to Give’ – give up something you love for 16 days, either get sponsored or spend that coffee or chocolate money on supporting our families.

The money you raise will help improve the lives of women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse.

  • £16 could fund a telephone consultation with a specialist Outreach Worker.
  • £160 could pay for 4 hours of specialist counselling or a Wellbeing event for up to 20 women.
  • £1,600 could fund essentials parcels for 45 families or a Children’s Outreach Worker to provide one month of 1:1 and group support.
