White Ribbon UK is the leading charity ending male violence against women by engaging with men and boys to make a stand against violence.
Every year Broxtowe Women’s Project (BWP) supports the global White Ribbon movement in spreading their message to end male violence against women once and for all.
Their mission is for all men to fulfil the White Ribbon Promise to never commit, excuse or remain silent about male violence against women.
16 Days of Action
November 25th was the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, also known as White Ribbon Day. From that day, until Human Rights Day on 10th December, it was the 16 Days of Action.
During this time BWP worked with its partners and communicated with followers online to educate them and get them talking about violence against women.
