Webinar: Rebuilding Lives
A webinar, Rebuilding Lives, will be held on Wednesday 4 October focusing on domestic violence, mental health, and attachment to perpetrators. It will discuss the complex dynamics and challenges faced by survivors of domestic violence.
The webinar is an opportunity to hear from Broxtowe Women’s Project Outreach Worker, Sandra Reddish, who will discuss post-separation abuse.
Mags Lesiak, keynote speaker, is a Cambridge PhD researcher specialising in trauma and attachment. Mags will discuss the impact of trauma on attachment patterns and its relevance to domestic violence survivors. Rubi Sandhu will also be discussing the impact of domestic abuse on mental health.
The webinar will be particularly useful for:
- professionals who work with survivors of domestic abuse;
- people who have experienced domestic abuse, seeking understanding;
- and anyone who wishes to understand more about these complex dynamics, stay up-to-date with research, and connect with others in this field.
The event is hosted by VoiceAbility and will take place on Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 4 October from 9:30-11:30am.
